Privacy Policy

The short version

This site has no accounts, no login, and takes no payments. It collects two kinds of information: standard analytics about page visits, and whatever you choose to type into the Web Advisor chat. We use that to run the shop. We don't sell it. The chat does not book appointments.

What we collect

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages get visited. It sets cookies and records standard usage data (pages viewed, approximate location from IP, device type). See Google's privacy policy for how Google processes this.
• Messages you send. The Web Advisor chat answers by keyword. It does not book appointments or prepare estimates, and it is not how you reach the shop. To book, call the shop. We log each chat: your first message, your last message, the last reply, the number of turns and which page button you used. We delete the log after 35 days. Each morning the shop and the owner get an emailed summary of the previous day's chats. It shows the first and last thing each customer typed. If you type a phone number, we keep it as you typed it, and it shows in that summary when it is your first or last message.
• Calls and texts. If you call or text the shop, that communication is handled by our shop-management systems (for example, appointment confirmations by text).

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your personal information.
• We don't run advertising pixels or social-media trackers on this site.
• We don't collect payment card details on this website. Payment happens at the shop or through the secure text-to-pay link our shop-management system sends you.

How long we keep it

Booking and service records are kept as part of your vehicle's service history, the same way any repair shop keeps job records. Analytics data is retained on Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we have about you, to ask for a copy, to ask us to delete it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify who you are before acting on it.
